Our Journey with the Central Coast Mariners
Player Sponsor – Shadeene Evans, 2023-24 Season
We proudly supported the Mariners during the 2023-24 A-League season as an Official Associate Partner and Player Sponsor for Shadeene Evans, a talented and inspiring young Marra woman from Borroloola, NT and former Young Matilda.
To support our partnership, the Constructability Recruitment team:
- Attended nearly all home games.
- Contributed to the charity round.
- Travelled for the Women’s semifinal.
- Witnessed the Men’s team’s historic treble-winning finals.
- Celebrated their success with a private event at our Sydney Head Office.
- Honoured the players’ achievements at the end-of-season presentation.
What it means – Impacting Our Communities
This initiative was managed by our Marketing & Strategy Lead, and local Coastie, Ash Sharma Morris. Reflecting on the sponsorship, Ash noted, “Although we came on board a little late in the season, the contributions we’ve made since then have been truly heartwarming.”
Through our partnership with Central Coast Mariners, we’ve been able to create memorable experiences for families, young players, and community sports volunteers. Our approach has been to use this partnership to foster shared experiences, highlighting our social responsibility and commitment to strengthening community ties.
We collaborated with local club, Wyoming Tigers FC to host junior players and volunteers in open-air box seats, allowing young players to experience home games in premium seating alongside their teammates, free of charge. Additionally, we’ve given away family tickets via social media platforms. Through this community engagement initiative, we directly contributed approximately $7,000 in ticket value into to the local community, while supporting the growing love for the game.
