What is civil construction?

Civil construction is a complex and challenging field that requires the collaboration of several different professionals through a multi-step process involving:
1. Planning and design
2. Land acquisition
3. Excavation and site preparation
4. Installation of services and utilities
5. Construction of buildings and structures.
The overall goal of the civil construction process is to deliver a high-quality infrastructure facility that meets the specifications and standards set out in the plans and that is functional, safe, and durable for years to come.
